Agency Support

Even Agencies Need a Specialist Sometimes

Your team does the performance work for your clients. I help out only when they get stuck: an LCP bottleneck nobody can find, an INP that will not move, a score that stays red no matter what ships. Expert help, agency training, and CoreDash for your whole portfolio.

How It Works

Your Team Does the Work. I Assist When Needed.

Your developers know their clients' sites better than any outsider ever will, so the work stays with them. What I add is the diagnosis, at the moment a specialist saves weeks.

1. Your Team Hits a Wall.

The best practices are done, the metric still fails, and the ticket keeps rolling into the next sprint. That is the moment to book me. I prepare before the session, so we start from a diagnosis instead of from scratch.

2. We Debug It Together.

Your developer shares their screen and drives. I navigate: DevTools, performance traces, LoAF attribution, the exact code path that blocks the metric. I explain every step of the diagnosis, because the point is that your team can do the next one without me.

3. Your Team Finishes the Job.

You leave the session with the fix, or with the exact changes your team ships that sprint. The hours were quoted up front, and if I underestimate, I finish at my own expense. Next time a client site gets stuck, you know where to find me.

17 years of web performance. Agencies bring
me in when a client site will not pass.

The question every agency owner asks first.

"Why not hire our own performance specialist?"

Because the workload is spiky. One month you have three escalations, the next month none. A specialist on payroll idles between fires, and a generalist doing performance on the side needs three sprints for what a specialist sees in 15 minutes. I do this 8 hours a day and have for 17 years. With agency support your team keeps doing what it is good at, and you buy the specialist hours only when a client actually needs them.

Where Agencies Bring Me In

Three Situations. One Specialist.

Every agency partnership starts with one of these.

Timing Before you quote

The Pitch You Want to Win

A prospect's site is failing Core Web Vitals and they are asking every agency in the pitch how to fix it. I review the site before you quote and give you a realistic scope. You walk in with an engineering answer while the competition promises image optimization.

Timing When it is stuck

The Client That Will Not Pass

Your team did the best practices. Compressed images, deferred scripts, a caching plugin. The site still fails. At this point the problem is architectural, and finding it is profiler work. I find the bottleneck, your team ships the fix, your client sees green.

Model Recurring

The Portfolio Escalation Path

The recurring model: I become the performance escalation path for all your clients. Your project managers book me the way they book your own seniors. This is how Happy Horizon works with me across their enterprise portfolio.

Engagement Models

Four ways to plug me in.

Per Client Session

One client, one problem, one block of hours at my on-call rates. Most agency escalations are solved in a single session.

Per Client Project

When the hard part is bigger than one session, we scope a fixed block of hours, like a compact full consultancy. Your team still does the building. I do the diagnosis and the tricky pieces.

Agency Training

I train your developers on Core Web Vitals debugging so the routine cases never reach me. Most agencies combine both: I fix the first client site on a shared screen and your team learns the method while it happens.

CoreDash for Agencies

Put every client on one RUM platform. CoreDash agency packages give each client its own dashboard, at agency pricing, with my support behind it. Your account managers see a regression before the client does.

Billing is simple. The agency is my client. I invoice you, you decide what your client sees, and the quote is fixed before we start.

White Label or Named

Under your brand, or by name as your specialist. Your call, per client.

You Own the Relationship

Every call, mail and invoice runs through you. I never approach your client directly.

Senior Only

No juniors, no outsourcing. The person on the call is the person who fixes it.

Happy Horizon agency partnership
Proof

How Happy Horizon uses me.

Happy Horizon is a leading Dutch digital agency. When one of their enterprise clients needs performance engineering, they bring me in. Not as a subcontractor. As their specialist.

That is the model this page describes. Their strategists keep the client relationship, their developers learn from every session, and the performance work gets done.

The rest of my track record is on the results page. Adevinta, Who What Wear, and the web.dev case study included.

Bring Me One Client Case.

The strategy call is 20 minutes and free. Bring the client site that worries you most. I will look at the field data live and tell you whether I can help and roughly how many hours it takes.

If I cannot improve the numbers, I will tell you on the call. A realistic no is worth more to your agency than an optimistic quote.

No Obligation

The call is free. If I can't help your client, I'll tell you.

Fixed Quote

Hours quoted before you commit. If I underestimate, that is my expense.

You Stay in Control

You decide the client contact, the margin, and the pace.

Agency Support

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions agency owners ask before the first engagement.

Do our clients know you are involved?

That is your call. Some agencies introduce me by name as their performance specialist, the way Happy Horizon does. Others keep it white label and present the findings as their own. Both work. Decide per client.

Will you ever approach our clients directly?

No. You own the relationship. Every call, mail and invoice runs through you unless you put me in direct contact yourself.

Can you join a pitch before we have won the account?

Yes. Send me the prospect's URL and I will review the field data before your pitch. A realistic scope in the proposal beats winning the account with an estimate nobody can deliver.

How does billing work?

The agency is my client. I quote a fixed number of hours per engagement, invoice you, and you decide the margin and what your client sees. If I underestimate the hours, I finish at my own expense.

What technology stacks do you support?

Anything that runs in a browser. React, Angular, Vue, Next.js, Magento, Shopify, WordPress or a custom stack. The rendering engine does not care which framework produced the HTML, and neither do I.

Can we monitor all our clients in one place?

Yes. CoreDash agency packages put every client site on one RUM platform, each with its own dashboard, at agency pricing and with my support behind it. It is the same tooling I use during engagements, so an escalation starts with attribution data instead of a hunch.

Our developers want to learn this. Can they sit in?

Please let them. Every session over a shared screen doubles as training, because I explain each diagnosis while I make it. For structured learning there is a dedicated Core Web Vitals training.
